Employment compensation is based on each nanny's unique experience and
qualifications. Well-experienced and well-educated child care professionals
will earn more than a child care worker with less experience and less
education. The nanny salary ranges usually fall into the below categories.
LIVE-OUT COMPENSATION
- For the care of one child:
$12.00 to $18.00 per hour
- For the care of two
children: $12.00 to $20.00 per hour
LIVE-IN COMPENSATION
- $1,200 to $2,400 per month
depending on number of children, number of hours of employment, and
nanny responsibilities
